You tour guide pick you up at 9 am from the hotel and then go to rent a bicycle. Then you'll start your bicycle tour. Riding toward the north, you will pass by many farms and villages. After two hours riding, you will get to the first stop for bicycle tour: Jade Dragon Village. It is at the base of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, hence for the origin of the name. The whole village covers an area over 4.6 square kilometers with an altitude over 1540 meters. The average temperature is around 16.3℃. Planting grains, vegs and flowers are the main business for locals. It is not a hot spot for tourist, therefore obviously it is a very tranquil place. Riding through the village, there is a large meadow for feeding local sheep, horse and cattle. In April and May, there are many wildflowers in the meadow. Everything in Jade Dragon Village is in harmony and peace.

Continuing riding, you will have your nice lunch in Baisha Ancient Town. It is located 10 kilometers far from north of Lijiang Old Town, facing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the north. Due to the white sand on the ground, the village got the name "Baisha". You will see the delicately arched bridges, azure blue sky, and cozy warm sunshine in Baisha village. Baisha village is the cradle for Naxi culture, you will visit the local home for Naxi and learn life, culture and history from an old kind Naxi doctor who can speak English. After the tour, you will return the bicycle and walk to the hotel.
