Day 1 Arrival in Lhasa
Upon arrival at Lhasa Gongga airport or railway station, you’ll be welcomingly greeted by your local tour guide and driver then escorted to Lhasa city. After hotel check-in, take the rest of time for acclimatizing yourself to the high altitude, the air and temperature.
Kindly Note:
1. Please don't wash hair and take a shower on the first day in case of getting cold.
2. Try not to do strenuous exercise on the plateau, no alcohol and cigarettes.
3. Please bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, lip protector, warm jackets etc.
4. Drink some water to get acclimatized to the high altitude.

Day 2 Lhsa
After breakfast, start your exciting Tibet tour from Potala Palace, the most recognized highest palace in the world and listed as UNESCO heritage site, you will not only enjoy the splendid building and its interior decorations but also learn local Tibetan culture and history. After lunch, go for Jokhang Temple, the center of Tibetan Buddhism and the sacred land of Buddhist followers where thousands of pilgrims come for worshiping every day. Take a leisurely walk at nearby Barkhor Street, a big free market with its various stalls for selling local specialties.

Day 3 Lhasa
After breakfast, meet your friendly tour guide and start to visit Norbulingka, like the Summer Palace in Beijing. Enjoy beautiful park and inhale fresh oxygen. Later, visit Drepung Monastery, the sacred land of Gelug Sect, which was established in 1416 and the second, third and fourth Dalai Lama once resided in. You will be fully immersed in the culture and spirituality of Tibet as appreciating its beautiful carvings and exquisite artwork everywhere.
After lunch, take a relaxing drive to Sera Monastery, which was originated in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary. Watch and listen to monks debate philosophical points or to spend time touring the monastery's interior. Each room is adorned with beautiful statues, art, or cultural decor. After sightseeing, be transferred to the hotel.

Day 4 Lhasa-Gyantse-Shigatse by Private Vehicle
After breakfast, drive to Shigatse(350km). On the way cross the Gangba-la Pass, tour guide will spare enough time for you to enjoy holy Yamdrok Lake, stunning view of the huge cover blue lake and the snow-capped mountain. Continue to enjoy the Korola Glacier on the roadside, hang prayer flag at Simila Mountain Pass and Manak Dam Lake. After arrival at Gyantse, historically Tibet's third largest city (after Lhasa and Shigatse), you will enjoy delicious lunch and visit the famous Pelkor Chode Monastery which is famous for the ten thousand Buddhist figure, enjoy inside vivid paintings and Buddha statues. Later, drive to Shigatse and check in the hotel for rest.

Day 5 Shigatse
After breakfast, drive to Mount Everest for 8 hours(345km). En route, you will get excited for the breathtaking view along the way. Make a stop at Jiawula Pass where is the perfect location to have an overview of the Himalayas for four snow mountains, all over 8,000 meters. Besides, you will take a stroll around the Rongbuk Monastery located 5,154 meters, the world’s highest monastery. It’s only 20km from the Mount Everest peak, so you will have a great chance to enjoy the astonishing Mount Everest and floating white clouds in the azure sky.

Today you will reside at Rongbuk Guest House. The equipment is very simple and basic, providing beds, heated blankets and hot water, basic meals. There is no running water, showers, private bathroom, please prepare according supplies on your own. But all these problems will be erased after traveler enjoying the starry sky at night, don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the beautiful views.

Day 6 Shigatse-Saga by Private Vehicle
Pass Dingri town and enjoy delicious lunch there, head to the most beautiful Hishabma glaciers group in Himalayas mountains, very spectacular snow-capped glaciers. Make a stop at Peikutso Lake, surrounded by mountains on three sides of the lake. There are rare birds and animals, such as Tibetan antelope, wild horses, Tibetan wild donkeys, black-necked cranes, striped geese, and black-billed gulls etc. (330km)

Day 7 Saga-Darchen by Private Vehicle
The first stop today is Lake Manasarovar, one of three holy lakes in Tibet and China's largest transparent freshwater lake. Enjoy beautiful lake views and hear interesting story about Manasarovar Lake and Lake Rakshastal(also called ghost lake). Only a dike between the two lakes, but the Lake Manasarovar is freshwater water, while Lake Rakshastal is saltwater, very magical. In the afternoon, pilgrim the Mount Kailash, recognized as the center of the world by the Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, Bon and Jainism. Every year, pilgrims from India, Nepal, Bhutan and other countries make a pilgrimage to this sacred mountain. It caps beautiful snow on the top of the mountain and shines bizarre under the sunlight. Day 8 Darchen--Zada by Private Vehicle
The highlight today is Zada Clay Forest. The erosion of thousands of years of wind and rain, just like the continuous polishing of the carved axe, but also make him exquisite carved. From afar, looks so resplendent, solemn and magnificent. The soil shape varies from one to another, such as fortified towers, pagodas, luxurious palace, majestic European castle, animals or person etc. Use your imagination and see how beautiful they are. Have a quick glimpse of Tholing Monastery, enjoy more than 100 pagoda ruins and ancient murals there. (320km)

Day 9 Zada-Darchen by Private Vehicle
After breakfast, you will visit the Ruins of Guge Kingdom. The disappearance of the Guge kingdom, which had a splendid civilization of seven hundred years ago, is still a mystery. Appreciate frescoes, sculptures, stone carvings and other fine religious artworks. Continue on with more scenic driving to Darchen where you will spend the night again.(280km)

Day 10 Darchen-Saga by Private Vehicle
Along the way to Saga, you will make a short stop at Zhadun Temple. Enjoy colorful prayer flags and the golden prayer wheel which look beautiful in the sunshine, and appreciate vivid Buddhist sculptures. (500km)

Day 11 Saga-Shigatse by Private Vehicle

Day 12 Shigatse-Lhasa by Private Vehicle
Today you will visit home of Panchan Lama-Tashilhunpo Monastery of Gelug Sect, built in 1447 and one of the six grand monasteries in Tibet. In Tibet Buddhism, Panchen Lama is just the reincarnation of Maitreya Buddha. The monastery houses a giant statue of the Maitreya Buddha, the biggest gilded statue of Maitreya (Buddha of the future) in China, and a tomb of the 4th Panchen Lama containing masses of jewels and gold. After visiting, drive around 5 hours back to Lhasa.(280km)
