Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

Day 2 Beijing
Your professional driver and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning and start your wonderful Beijing tour at the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and then later move to the Forbidden City, with yellow glazed tiles and ancient relics that take you back in time the Ming and Qing dynasties. After revitalizing with a delicious lunch in a traditional restaurant and enjoy beautiful Chinese silk at a gallery, then move to the Temple of Heaven, a temple that boasts of the magnificent ecclesiastical architecture. The last stop today is Summer Palace, a famous summer retreat for royal emperors in Qing dynasty, enjoy the vast area of beautiful Kunming Lake and pearl, wander along the Long Corridor.

Day 3 Beijing
The tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in the morning, learn jade culture at a gallery and head to Mutianyu Great Wall to avoid the stifling crowds and get a better view. Take the cable car to get a bird's eye of steep ridges densely covered with green trees and bushes and slide down by interesting toboggan after visiting. After the hike, you'll be served with scrumptious Chinese lunch, then go to Ming Tombs (Changling). Walk around the vast tranquil area, get to know emperor Yongle and learn Chinese traditional tomb culture. Sip thirst-quenching tea and have a short stop at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Park to view the intriguing architecture of the Water Cube and Bird's Nest from outside.

Day 4 Beijing-Lhasa by Flight
Transfer to Beijing airport to catch the flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, your zealous local tour guide will greet you at the exit of airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. Have a relaxing rest for acclimatizing yourself to the high altitude, the air and temperature.

1. Please don't wash hair and take a shower on the first day in case of getting cold.
2. Try not to do strenuous exercise on the plateau, no alcohol and cigarettes.
3. Please bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, lip protector, warm jackets etc.
4. Drink some water to get acclimatized to the high altitude.

Day 5 Lhasa
After breakfast, start your exciting Tibet tour from Potala Palace, the most recognized highest palace in the world, you will not only enjoy the splendid building and its interior decorations but also learn local Tibetan culture and history. In the afternoon, go for Jokhang Temple, the center of Tibetan Buddhism and the sacred land of Buddhist followers where thousands of pilgrims come for worshiping every day. Take a leisurely walk at nearby Barkhor Street, where you can do kora (a religious circle of a building or mountain) with pilgrims and locals, and buy Tibetan traditional or religious things.

Day 6 Lhasa
The first stop today is Norbulingka, meaning “Park of Treasure”, used to be the summer palace of the Dalai Lama and was built around 1755. Norbulingka stands over 360,000 square meters and has over 375 rooms that are all filled with various precious flowers and plants, creating a deeply oxygenated, peaceful atmosphere. Afterwards, visit Drepung Monastery, the sacred land of Gelug Sect, which was established in 1416 and the second, third and fourth Dalai Lama once resided in. You can visit biggest monastery kitchen inside the monastery. In the afternoon, take a relaxing drive to Sera Monastery, the highlight is that the monks will debate Buddhist doctrine at around 3-5pm. In addition, you can tour the Tibetan religious scripture printing house, three sand Mandalas and colorful Rock Painting of Buddha inside the monastery.

An additional transfer fee will be incurred if your hotel is outside the above mentioned area. If your hotel is located in a narrow lane or an apartment block, we suggest you find the nearest hotel on the main street as your pick-up point.
