Welcome to Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province. Upon your arrival, your warmhearted Guizhou tour guide and driver will greet you at the airport or railway station, then you’ll be escorted to a local hotel and check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.

Recommend activity: Wander around Qianling Park where you can stretch your legs and enjoy the beautiful landscape, worship at Hongfu Temple and watch naughty monkeys. On the top of the mountain, you will have a panoramic view of whole Guiyang city. Later head to elegant Jiaxiu Tower, the symbol of Guiyang with a history of more than 400 years. Climb to the top, the scenery of the Nanming River is quite beautiful. 

Overnight in Guiyang

In the morning, check out from the hotel and drive around 2 hours to Huangguoshu Waterfall. Entering inside, take the sightseeing bus to Tianxiqiao Scenic Spot, regarded as the Karst floating stone forest. Here the unique stones are scattered all over the place, you’ll enjoy the enchanting lakes, caves, floating stone forest, elegant stone bridges. Take some pictures at the beautiful Silver Pendant Waterfall. After enjoying delicious lunch at a local restaurant, take the sightseeing bus to Huangguoshu Waterfall, the only waterfall that can be viewed from multiple angles. When the water is sufficient, it is like a huge sky curtain pulled up on a cliff, with tons of white water falling from the sky. Sometimes you will see beautiful rainbow on the water. At last, pay a short visit to the shooting place of Journey to the West-Doupotang Waterfall. Drive back to the hotel after visiting.

Overnight in Guiyang

Check out from the hotel and head to Libo Daxiao Hole Scenic Spot(3.5hrs), the famous UNESCO World Heritage where consist beautiful mountains, lakes, caves, forest and waterfalls. In the gorge, the waterfalls run fast and look like silver water curtain, so magnificent and breathtaking. Besides, you get the chance to have close contact with local Buyi ethnic groups by visiting the traditional Diaojiaolou buildings, elegant cloth and silver jewelry. The meal will be served at a local restaurant. Continue the trip to the ancient seven holes bridge, built in Qing dynasty and served as an important bridge between Libo county and Guangxi province in ancient time. Although it looks fragile, it has survived floods for hundreds of years. Later, you will discover many precious trees and plants there, some plants even root in the stone in the water. It looks like a floating forest if you look from a distance. The tour ends from sending you back to the hotel and have a good rest.

Overnight at Libo County

After breakfast, transfer to Qingyan Ancient Town(around 3.5 hours). Enjoy local cuisine at a local restaurant after arrival. The town is a military garrison during old times, there are the relics of the ancient wall in the town. Hike to the city wall and have an overview of the whole town, and enjoy a leisurely stroll in the tranquil town and appreciate historical buildings including temples, cabinets, caves, courtyards and palaces, etc. Besides, take some incredible pictures at Back Street where the smooth stone has been scoured and polished after hundreds of years. After visiting, return to the hotel in Guiyang.
