Your private tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel, railway station, or airport in Chongqing in the afternoon, then transfer to Chaotianmen pier for boarding Yangtze River cruise(18:00-20:00 pm). Check in the room and join the Captain’s Welcome Reception at the deck. Your relaxing 4 days Yangtze River cruise will start to sail at 21:00 pm.

Overnight on the Cruise

Enjoy the beautiful sunrise and join in Taichi exercise if you wake up early this morning. After breakfast, you have the optional choice to tour the Fengdu Ghost City(CNY 295 per person) which is regarded as the home of the dead but also the folk culture and art treasure combining Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism. Explore mysterious ghost culture in the east under tour guide’s introduction, visit various ghost figures and organizations in the hell, learn various torture methods they use.

After enjoying delicious lunch on the cruise, you’ll tour the Shibaozhai Pagoda, a 12-storey exquisite building leaning against the cliffy hill. It is reputed as one of Eight Bizarre Buildings in the world and famous for its mysterious stories for a long time, you will climb up to the top and enjoy the beautiful Buddhist statues and have a panoramic view of Yangtze River. In the evening, have fun at the party and watch crew art performance singing, dancing etc.

Overnight on the Cruise

In the morning, you can visit optional White Emperor City(CNY 295 per person), get to the history of Three Kingdoms, enjoy scatted temples and gates there. Appreciate beautiful Yangtze River views as passing two famous gorges, Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge. In the afternoon, change a small boat to sail to Shennv Stream, a ranging torrent shaped by the steep geography. Enjoy successive steep mountains and mysterious hanging coffin on the cliffs, which makes this place more original and primitive. In the evening, dress up and participate in the Captain’s Farewell Party, and enjoy delicious dinner together.

Overnight on the Cruise

After breakfast, check out from the cruise at Maoping Port and take the sightseeing bus to visit the well-known Three Gorges Dam. It is the largest hydro-power station in the world. You will visit the dam, hydropower station and navigation structure so that you will have a comprehensive understanding of this amazing man-made project in China. Take the sightseeing bus to Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal around 12:00 pm, your private tour guide and driver in Yichang will hold your name board and pick you up, then transfer to Yichang railway station to take the train to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival, your friendly tour guide and driver will transfer you to the local hotel.

Overnight in Zhangjiajie

After enjoying breakfast in the hotel, your courteous tour guide and private driver will transfer to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, take the cable car up to Tianzi Mountains and appreciate great towering cliffs and peaks which seems like growing from the ground directly. It boasts cloud-kissing mountains and rocky peaks in grotesque shapes. Creating a harmonious environment and stunning views by surrounding waterfalls, peaks, forests, caves.

After lunch, go to Yuanjiajie to appreciate Hallelujah Mountains--classic shooting symbol of Avatar, you should have seen floating planets in the movie. Go to No.1 Bridge under Heaven, it has a natural slate between two separate peaks creating thrilling structure and it was regarded as a world masterpiece with 350 meters high. Then take Bailong Elevator down, the world’s highest and fastest elevator. Have a rest after we drive you back to the hotel.

Overnight in Zhangjiajie

You’ll be transferred to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon after ate breakfast in the hotel. Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon looks like a fairyland where the path in the valley stretches many miles and fog shrouds over streams all over the year. The highlighted attraction in recent years must be transparent Glass Bridge. Standing on the bridge, you will feel like floating in the air if it surrounded with white clouds. Since it limits 8,000 tourists per day on the bridge, we advise you book the tour in advance.

After lunch, you’ll explore Golden Whip Stream(Jinbianxi in Chinese) in the afternoon, which is one of the most beautiful valleys with meandering streams, crystal-clear waterfalls, abundance of flowers, trees and grasses. When strolling along the path, you might think you are in the wonderland. Some monkeys and birds might appear, adding more funny things on this tour. At last, transfer you back to the hotel.

Overnight in Zhangjiajie

Go to Tianmen Mountain by world’s longest cable car, which is famous for Tianmen Cave that is the highest natural cavity in the precipice. It’s 131 meters high, 57 meters wide, 60 meters deep. It’s the only path to Tianmen Mountain, when you looking at it, you will think it’s the way to paradise. Another well-known scenic spot is Glass Skywalk. The cliff path encircles the top mountain, which built by tempered glass and steel. It compares with Grand Canyon Skywalk. It will be a thrilling experience to walk on that road in life. Then visit Tianmen Temple afterward be transferred to Zhangjiajie airport.
