This 10 days impression China tour covers Beijing, Shanghai, Xian and Dunhuang. Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by a professional tour guide at the airport, then the driver will escort to your hotel for check-in.

Day 2 Beijing
Today you start the exciting Beijing day tour with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Pass the Tiananmen Gate, you'll enter the Forbidden City that absorbs the powerful majesty of the complex, hear the palace's turbulent yet prosperous past as you exploring inside palaces. After enjoying delicious lunch and enjoy a beautiful silk gallery, then visit the Temple of Heaven, the most representative masterpiece complex where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and bountiful harvests. Admiring the richly decorated vault pavilion with surrounding echo wall and circular mound altar. Afterward, continue to visit the Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden which is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. Strolling along the long corridor, appreciate the vivid paintings and beautiful Kunming Lake. Appreciate enchanting pearl then transfer to hotel for rest.
Note: The Forbidden City Museum requires tourists holding valid ID or passport for entrance check.

Day 3 Beijing
The highlight tour today is an excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall, enjoy the dramatic vistas of Great Wall as it descends and rises as far as the eyes can see. Afterwards, you'll get the chance to learn Chinese jade culture and history. After lunch, move to Ming Tombs(Dingling), the tomb of the Wanli Emperor, which is the only one of the Ming Dynasty Tombs excavated. On the way back to downtown, you will be served the Chinese tea to refresh up and appreciate the Chinese tea ceremony.

Day 4 Beijng-Xian by Flight
Transfer to airport by private tour guide and driver, then catch the flight to Xian. Upon arrival, enjoy delicious lunch and go to the Xian City Wall which is the most complete city wall in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. You can walk or even choose to cycle(expense on your own) on the wall to enjoy a panoramic view of the city and its surrounding. After visiting, you will walk through a popular local snack street--Muslim Street, where you can enjoy many delicious local foods at your own cost. At last, check in the hotel and have a rest.

Day 5 Xian
Start your wonderful tour from visiting Terracotta Warriors at first, which is reputed as one of the world's wonders and the most significant archaeological excavation of the 20th century. Marvel at the large collection of life-size terra cotta soldiers and horses with different facial expressions, hairstyles and postures as well as ancient weaponry and chariots made 2,000 years ago arranged in the battle formations. The army dates from the first emperor of China- Qinshihuang. After lunch, continue to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda that was used to house the Buddhist statues and sutras brought back from India by master Xuanzang. Return to the hotel after visiting.

Day 6 Xian-Dunhuang by Flight
Time is free until your friendly tour guide and driver transfer you to the airport. Upon arrival in Dunhuang, you will be warmly greeted by a professional tour guide at the airport then escort to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.
Recommend activity: Enjoy delicious local food at Shazhou Night Market.

Day 7 Dunhuang
After breakfast, drive to well-known Mogao Grottoes. Before visiting the grottoes, you will watch educational documentary movies about Mogao Grottoes to get a comprehensive knowledge of this relic site. Afterward, follow your tour guide and enjoy amazing mural paintings and colorful statues, trace the history from the Qin dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty. After enjoying lunch, head to Singing Sand Dune and Crescent Lake, which is a limpid lake in the shape of the crescent moon surrounded by the sand dunes, and the lake water has kept clear over hundreds of years. Slide from the sand, you can hear the euphonic sand sound, besides you have the optional choice to ride a camel to experience a unique desert landscape. Return to the hotel after visiting.

Day 8 Dunhuang-Shanghai by Flight
After breakfast, move to the Dunhuang Museum which is a local museum housing the cultural relics that were excavated in the Dunhuang area now there are over 4000 historical items contained in the museum. After lunch, you'll take the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet your friendly tour guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 Shanghai
You will enjoy an exciting day tour in modern Shanghai. Firstly take a visit to the Shanghai Museum with over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times, appreciate beautiful porcelain, bronze, paintings etc. Then drive to the City God Temple Bazaar where you can shop for various handicrafts and souvenirs if you like. Later on, we will move to the Yu Garden, a classical Qing dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds. After enjoying delicious lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to the Bund, one of the most noted waterfront, you will be amazed at the European-syle architecture on the west and towering buildings on the east bank of Huangpu River. At last, take the fast-speed elevator to the top of Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in Shanghai and have a bird's view of this vibrant city. Return to the hotel after visiting.
