Tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel. At first, you will visit Chen Family Temple which is one of the most culturally unique complexes in Southern China. In the Sixth Ancestor Hall, you can find a copper statue of Huineng, the sixth founder of a sect of Buddhism. Later, you will visit Shameen Island. The territory was divided into two concessions given to France and the United Kingdom by the Qing Dynasty government in the 19th century. The island is a historical area that serves as a reminder of the colonial European period, with quiet pedestrian avenues flanked by trees and lined by historical buildings in various states. The island now is the location of several hotels, restaurants and tourist shops selling curios and souvenirs. Afterwards, visit Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall which is one of the most important historic buildings in Guangzhou. At last, send you to the railway station to take the night train to Zhangjiajie.
