Driver and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel. Drive around 1.5h to Mount Qingcheng, one of the birthplaces of Taoism, meander through tranquil and holy traditional Taoism temple. Then enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, sightseeing the Chinese ancient conservancy project-Dujiangyan Irrigation System, at last drive back to the hotel.

Tour guide and driver pick you up from the hotel in the morning. Today, you'll head for a very interesting site Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Learn the origin and habits of the animal, see infant baby pandas in an infant area, and delivery room of pandas. Chengdu Research Base of Giant Pandas not only offers a chance to see these amazing creatures in their natural environment but also provides an in-depth look into these rare animals. Then you move to Jinli Ancient Street, a commercial street with long tradition and history. You can try various Sichuan food and snacks as well as buying various local crafts in the markets. 

After an authentic local lunch, take a leisurely walk to Wuhou Temple which is one of Chengdu's oldest temples, built in honor of Zhuge Liang, a famous strategist and statesman. You will browse many interesting features including terracotta statues of ministers, generals, and high officials as well as a number of ancient inscribed stone tablets featuring poems and writings. At last, explore Kuanzhai Alley for both traditional leisure life and modern fast-food life. You will find that Kuanzai Alley is actually a complex cultural and business street with the more functions of tourism and recreation. Then enjoy an exciting Sichuan Opera before being sent back to the hotel.

Be met and transferred to Leshan. On the way enjoy the beautiful countryside landscape of western Chengdu plains during about two hours' driving on the expressway. In Leshan, visit the biggest sitting Buddha sculpture-Leshan Giant Buddha. The grand Buddha was completed in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 years' construction and enjoys the fame of the biggest sitting stone sculpture in the world with a 71-meter height. Carved on the cliff face, the sculpture is well designed with perfect balance and effective water drainage system. You can also choose to have a boat tour to see for far distance to get a whole view (fee is on your own). Afternoon drive back to the airport, railway station or hotel as your request.
