If you are an economy class traveler at Shanghai Pudong Airport, you can access airport lounges as long as you are willing to pay at the door. 

Terminal 1 of Pudong Airport: No. 9 and 37 Lounges

Terminal 2 of Pudong Airport: No. 66, 68, 69, 71, 75 and 77 Lounges

The hotel in the airport is located in the departure hall of Terminal 2, you can sleep and take a shower to relax.

If you can get a free visa, book a hotel near the airport, which also benefits traveler to relax and freshen up.

Free wifi is available at the Pudong airport, but a Chinese mobile phone number is required to receive a verification code. If you don’t have one, ask help from Chinese in the airport.
