If you are an economy class traveler at Shanghai Pudong Airport, you can access airport lounges as long as you are willing to pay at the door. 

Terminal 1 of Pudong Airport: No. 9 and 37 Lounges

Terminal 2 of Pudong Airport: No. 66, 68, 69, 71, 75 and 77 Lounges

2. Hotel in the Airport

The hotel in the airport is located in the departure hall of Terminal 2, you can sleep and take a shower to relax.

3. Hotel near the Airport

If you can get a free visa, book a hotel near the airport, which also benefits traveler to relax and freshen up.

Wifi

Free wifi is available at the Pudong airport, but a Chinese mobile phone number is required to receive a verification code. If you don’t have one, ask help from Chinese in the airport.

Shopping

There are several stores selling skin care products, cosmetics, skin care tools, perfume, alcohol, tobacco, food, health care products, leather accessories, toy crafts etc, and it’s a good way to skill your layover time at the airport.
