November-March: 8:30am-4:30pm(Stop entering: 3:40pm)
2. Admission fee: $ 9 for peak season, $ 6 for low season
3. Forbidden City closes on every Mondays(except Chinese major holiday).
4. Admission limits up to 80,000 tourists every day.
5. It is imperative to have tourist’s full name and passport to book ticket and access.
6. Treasure Museum, Clock and Watch Museum need to buy ticket to access. (About $1.5 per person)
Hot to get to Forbidden City from Beijing airport?
After that, you can take a subway from Beijing airport to Line 1 Tiananmen West Station.
Routes: T2/T3 Terminals take airport subway--Dongzhimen Sation, transfer Line 2 to Jianguomen Station, then transfer Line 1, get off at Tiananmen West Station.
